Meet The Band

Shouting at Strangers, are a 4 piece alternative and progressive rock outfit from Newcastle Upon Tyne. The band take inspiration from a wide variety of artists, including: Mammoth, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Alter Bridge.

 

Formed in the Summer of 2024, Shouting at Strangers started out as a covers band. Since their inception, Shouting at Strangers have worked their way up through the local scene, playing some of the most iconic venues that newcastle has to offer.

Ryan Watson

Ben churns out blistering riffs at a breakneck pace on lead guitar. He also occasionally sings backing vocals.

Lead singer and lyricist Joel Taylor, is responsible for penning the poignant poetry that tugs at your heart strings, and moves your feet. 

Lithuanian drummer, Danielis Tirunas is a rhythmic powerhouse, crafting intense, groovy beats that you can't help but headbang too.

Ryan provides the band with the thunder from down-under on Bass. Ryan also graces us with his lovely falsetto backing vocals
